What you need to know
Vision benefits are covered through the EyeMed Vision Plan. The plan can help you pay for routine eye exams, lenses, or frames every calendar year. You’ll get access to in-network and out-of-network care — but you’ll pay more for services if you decide to see an out-of-network provider.
How it works
When you use the plan, your yearly eye exam is covered at 100 percent if you use an in-network doctor. If you need glasses, you get an allowance toward frames and pay a copay for items such as lenses and coatings. You can elect to get contacts instead of glasses, and the plan pays an allowance towards the cost of contacts in lieu of annual standard lenses.
What you pay when you need care
Each year you receive a $155 frame allowance and lens service, or a $155 frame allowance and a $155 contact lenses allowance through the EyeMed Vision Plan.

Looking for a provider?
Network providers discount their fees for Plan participants. Plus, your coinsurance is lower when you stay in the network.
To find a provider, visit the EyeMed website. At the top of the page, click “Find an eye doctor,” and then select the Insight Network from the Network drop-down menu.
