What you need to know

As a new hire, you’re eligible for benefits:

  • Full-time colleagues: On your date of hire
  • Part-time colleagues: On the first of the month following your one-year anniversary

You must enroll during Open Enrollment or within 30 days of your hire date (or within 30 days of a qualifying life event).

Note: Colleagues with spouses/children who are also Rentokil employees can not carry duplicate benefits, including supplemental life insurance.

Who you can cover

Full-time colleagues

As a full-time colleague, you’re eligible for coverage your date of hire for all benefits except Rentokil’s Retirement Savings Plan.

You’re eligible to enroll in Rentokil’s Retirement Savings Plan after 30 days of employment and you will vest in company match contributions after two years of service.

Dependents

You can provide coverage for the following dependents:

  • Your spouse/domestic partner1
  • Your children, stepchildren, or your domestic partner’s children up to age 262
  • Your legal guardians

Dependent verification – View the list of required documents

You must provide verification documentation for any dependents newly added to your coverage. If you don’t attach Dependent Verification Documentation at Open Enrollment or your new hire enrollment, RTX Benefits will contact you by email to request that you provide proof of eligibility for your dependents. Requested documents must be returned within 15 days or your enrolled dependents will be removed from coverage, and you won’t be able to add them back to your coverage unless and until you have a qualifying life event or during the next annual Open Enrollment, contingent upon you providing acceptable documentation at that time.

1 Requires completion of the RTX Domestic Partner Affidavit
2 Dependent children age 26 or older, unmarried, and primarily supported by you and incapable of self-sustaining employment by reason of mental or physical disability are eligible to be covered under this Plan. You will be required to certify this status and periodically recertify the status of your adult dependent.

Part-time colleagues

If you’re a part-time colleague working at least 20 hours per week, you’re eligible for health benefits on the first of the month following your one-year anniversary.

As a part-time colleague, you can carry employee-only medical coverage.

You’re eligible to enroll in Rentokil’s Retirement Savings Plan after 30 days of employment and you will vest in company match contributions after two years of service.

Dependents

You can provide all other benefits (dental, vision, etc.) for the following dependents:

  • Your spouse/domestic partner1
  • Your children, stepchildren, or your domestic partner’s children up to age 262
  • Your legal guardians

Seasonal colleagues are not eligible for health benefits.

Seasonal colleagues are eligible to participate in Rentokil’s Retirement Savings Plan after 30 days of employment and are vested in company match contributions after 1 year of service.

Season colleagues may qualify for Medical plan benefits if they work 1,560 or more hours in the last 12 months per ACA guidelines.
