What you need to know
You have 30 days from your date of hire or the date of your qualifying life event (marriage, birth, loss or gain of coverage, etc.) to enroll in or make changes to your benefits.

Review the information on this website or download a copy of our Benefits Guide and think about the benefits needs of you and your family.

Before you choose, be sure to compare the medical plans.

Use Ask Me.
Answer a few questions about your benefits needs, and Ask Me, an AI-powered colleague experience, will recommend a medical plan and other benefits offered through Rentokil that might be a good fit and even save you some money! (Note: For the best experience using Ask Me, use the Chrome web browser and make sure you are logged in to Okta on your device.)

Collect any Required Documentation.
Adding a new dependent to your benefits? You’ll be required to provide documentation, such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, Social Security Number, or Domestic Partner Affidavit.
Attach your Dependent Verification Documentation in the area provided before submitting your elections for Open Enrollment or New Hire Enrollment. If you don’t attach Dependent Verification Documentation at the time of your enrollment, RTX Benefits will contact you by email to request that you provide proof of eligibility for your dependents. Requested documents must be returned within 15 days or your enrolled dependents will be removed from coverage. View the list of required documents.
Enrollment checklist

Visit Workday.
In Workday, your enrollment event will appear in “My Tasks.” Just click and follow the prompts!

Select your benefits.
Click “Manage” or “Enroll” on the benefit tile you want. Don’t forget to review your basic life and supplemental life insurance elections and make sure your beneficiaries’ information is up to date.
Once you select the benefit you’d like to add, you’ll be able to add any dependents you want to enroll.
If you do not want to enroll in a particular benefit, the tile should show as “Waived.”

Attach Dependent Verification Documentation.
Drag and drop or click “Select files” to attach Dependent Verification Documentation for any dependents newly added to coverage.
View the list of required documentation.

Review and sign.
Click the “Review and Sign” button. Review the legal notice and click “I agree.”
IMPORTANT! Your enrollment is not yet complete at this step.

Submit your choices.
When you’re happy with your elections, click “Submit.” When the confirmation screen displays, click “Print” if you want to print a copy or save a PDF of your benefit elections.
Remember, if you don’t click “Submit,” your elections won’t be saved and won’t go into effect.
When does payment for coverage begin?
You owe premiums (payment for your benefits) beginning from the date your coverage begins.
Coverage and premiums are effective on the original effective date of the event. Any missed premium payroll deductions will appear on your next pay in full as a retroactive deductionRetroactive Premium Deduction: Coverage and premiums are effective on the original effective date of your enrollment event. Once your enrollment or change is approved and finalized, any missed premium payroll deductions dating back to the effective date will appear on your next pay as a retroactive deduction and will be deducted from your check in full..
If you do not complete your benefits enrollment prior to your first pay, you will be charged retroactive (past due) benefits deductions on the first check following the date you submit your benefits enrollment.
PRO TIP: Complete your benefits enrollment as soon as possible to avoid retroactive premium payments!
What happens if you don’t enroll
If you’re a new hire and you don’t enroll in benefits within 30 days from your start date, you won’t be able to make changes until the next Open Enrollment period, unless you experience a qualifying life event (QLE), such as loss or gain of coverage, marriage, divorce, or birth or adoption of a child.
If you do not submit your New Hire Enrollment event in Workday, you will only have the following benefits:
- Company-paid short-term disability (STD)
- Company-paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
- Long-term disability (LTD) coverage at a 50 percent cost-share with Rentokil.
You’ll also have access to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost to you.
