Explore your benefit options
If you’re a full-time colleague, your benefits and benefits deductions are effective from your date of hire. You have 30 days from your date of hire to make your elections. Any retroactive premiumsAny missed premium payroll deductions dating back to the effective date will appear on your next pay as a retroactive deduction and will be deducted from your check in full. will be deducted in full on your first paycheck after you enroll.
If you’re a part-time colleague, you can enroll within 30 days of your one-year anniversary. Your benefits will become effective on the first of the month following your one-year anniversary.
Review your medical, dental, vision, and spending and savings account options. You also need to make decisions about protection benefits, such as life and AD&D insurance.
Decide who to cover
Your spouse/domestic partner and/or your children or your spouse’s/domestic partner’s children are eligible to be covered by your benefits if you’re a full-time colleague. Please see the Eligibility page if you’re a part-time colleague.
If you want to enroll dependents in your benefits, you’ll need to provide Dependent Verification Documentation for each enrolled dependent. If you don’t attach the documentation to your new hire enrollment event in Workday, RTX Benefits will contact you by email to request it. You’ll have 15 days to supply the required information or your dependents will be removed from coverage.
Use Ask Me

Enroll through Workday
Visit Workday and look for the enrollment event in “My Tasks.” Just click and follow the prompts. For detailed instructions, visit the How to Enroll page.

Enroll in your 401(k)
After 30 days of employment, enroll in your 401(k) to start saving for retirement. You can contribute to your retirement savings account and make changes to your deferral at any time throughout the year.
Don’t leave free money on the table — maximize your Company match. Rentokil matches 50 percent on the dollar up to the first 7 percent you contribute. Learn more about how the Plan works, and use financial planning tools from Vanguard.
After 90 days, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the 401(k) at a contribution rate of 3 percent per pay period, unless you opt out by contacting Vanguard. This amount will be deducted from your paycheck tax-free.
Designate beneficiaries
A beneficiary is the person who you want to receive benefits in the event of your death. You can add beneficiaries for your life and AD&D insurance, 401(k) Retirement Plan, and Health Savings Account (HSA), if you’re enrolled in one of the CDHP medical plans.
- Life insurance: You’re able to add your life beneficiary when you complete your new hire enrollment. If you’ve already completed 30 days of service and can no longer change or update your new hire enrollment, change your life beneficiaries by visiting Workday > Menu > Benefits & Pay > Change Benefits > Change Beneficiaries.
