Report the qualifying life event
You can change your benefits within 30 days of a qualifying life event. To report the life event, visit Workday or contact RTX Benefits at (800) 901-9025 or MyHR@Rentokil-Terminix.com.
Submit necessary documentation
You’ll need to provide proof of new or former coverage to Rentokil to change your benefit elections outside of the enrollment period. You will not be able to make changes in Workday unless we receive this information from you.
- If you’re gaining coverage: Provide a copy of your enrollment confirmation in another group plan or in Medicare/Medicaid/CHIP.
- If you’re losing coverage: Provide a letter or screenshot showing the date, type of coverage, and names of those whose coverage was terminated. You will need to provide Social Security numbers and Dependent Verification Documentation, such as a marriage certificate, birth certificate, or domestic partner affidavit, to add dependents to your coverage.
Review your coverage options and decide what changes you need to make
If you or one of your dependents loses coverage outside of Rentokil, you may:
- Be eligible for Rentokil coverage, and/or
- Add your eligible dependents
If you or one of your dependents gains coverage outside of Rentokil, you’re eligible to drop Rentokil coverage for you and your dependents, if applicable.
Note: Gaining coverage elsewhere and removing Rentokil coverage is not a COBRA qualifying event.
To change your benefits, visit Workday > Menu > Benefits & Pay > Benefits > Change Elections. If you have questions about changing your medical coverage, contact RTX Benefits at (800) 901-9025 (follow the prompts for Benefits and Health & Welfare) or MyHR@Rentokil-Terminix.com.
For your qualifying life event to be processed, all changes must be made, and complete documentation must be submitted, within 30 days of the gain or loss of coverage elsewhere. If you missed your 30-day window, you can review options at Healthcare.gov.
Note: Coverage and premiums are effective on the original effective date of the event. Any missed premium payroll deductions will appear on your next pay in full as a retroactive deductionRetroactive Premium Deduction: Coverage and premiums are effective on the original effective date of your enrollment event.
